Liner Prices
To price your liner,
- Add the height and width of the artwork in inches.
- Find the sum, called united inches, in the footage
chart.
- Multiply the footage by $15
- For gilt liners, add $7 per lineal foot. Round up to the 1/2 foot.
Example for pricing a liner for 18" x 24"
artwork:
- 18" + 24" = 32 united inches
- 32 united inches in footage chart = 6.5 feet
- 6.5 feet x $15/foot = $97.50 liner base price
For gilding: 32 united inches x 2 = 64 lineal inches
- 64 lineal inches ÷ 12 inches = 5.33 feet
- Rounding up to the half-foot, 5.5 feet x $7/foot
= $38.50
- Gilt liner = $97.50 + $38.50 = $136.00
